Future Plans
- Planning to establish a processing unit on our own for primary, secondary and value addition of the products produced by the member farmers.
- Establishing a cold room for perishable goods like vegetables to support vegetables farmers in Bapatla and nearby villages.
- Planning to establish structures for bio fertiliser production units to meet the input scarcity for bio products for farmers converting to chemical farming.
About Kshethra Natural Farmer Producer Company Limited
Bridging the Gap Between Farmers and Fair Markets
Kshethra Natural Farmer Producer Company Limited, Bapatla is one among the vibrant Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) formed and nurtured under the guidance and support of SEARCH CBBO (Cluster Based Business Organization). The company has been sanctioned under the PMKVY Central Sector Scheme by NABARD, with chilly and spices identified as its primary commodities for aggregation, value addition, and market linkage.
Formally registered under the Companies Act, 2013 on 28th August 2021, the FPO has steadily grown into a strong institution representing the collective interests of natural and organic practicing farmers in Bapatla District. Its primary goal is to empower small and marginal farmers by reducing input costs, improving access to better markets, and ensuring fair returns for their produce.
The FPC’s outreach extends beyond Bapatla District, as it actively engages with farmers across Andhra Pradesh — from Srikakulam in the north to Chittoor in the south. These farmers, many of whom have been practicing natural and organic farming methods for several years, form a reliable supply base for the FPC. This extensive farmer network ensures that consumers are provided with authentic, safe, and high-quality natural products.
Services to Farmer Members
The FPC has also established a retail outlet on the main road of Bapatla town, with the twin objective of encouraging marginal and small farmers and providing them with a dedicated space to sell their produce directly
This initiative ensures that farmers gain better visibility and access to local consumers, while consumers in turn benefit from safe, naturally grown, and traceable food products.
